Phospho-soda, an oral sodium phosphate product sold over-the-counter, is typically used to cleanse the bowels prior to a colonoscopy.  On May 5, 2006, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a health advisory that phospho-sodas are associated with acute kidney failure and a chronic condition known as phosphate nephropathy.  The prime phospho-soda manufacturer, Fleet Company, was warned several years before the FDA warning that its product was causing permanent kidney damage, particularly in the elderly.  It continued to manufacture the product without changing the product warning or instructions for its use.

Our national network of attorneys were the first to represent clients in lawsuits filed in New York, New Jersey, California, Florida, Maryland and other states against C.B. Fleet and its distributors. We have already entered into many settlements for our clients.

When you become our client, you will benefit from all of the groundwork that we have done to date.

Please call us immediately at 212-686-8045 if you suffered kidney failure after taking Fleet Phospho-soda or any other sodium phosphate oral solution, including Visicol.
